Minister of Finance, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, presented the new MTEF yesterday in Abuja. Photo: TWITTER/FINMINNIGERIAThe leader of the N-Power beneficiaries in the state, Salihu Umar, yesterday, said that they appreciate the government’s efforts to allow them to volunteer for over three years, in addition to training them in March after which they submitted their business plans.

“It would be recalled that in March 2022, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria organised an entrepreneurial training for beneficiaries, where the participants submitted business plans, with a promise by the government to provide financial support.

“At this point, the peaceful and law-abiding N-power beneficiaries in Bauchi State on behalf of all other beneficiaries in Nigeria are appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, through the office of the minister to fulfil the long-awaited promise to N-power volunteers for them to become self-reliant.”

Umar urged beneficiaries to be prayerful, and optimistic and remain calm as they await the disbursement from the government.
