The National Assembly, on Tuesday, approved a request by President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.
At the House, a supplementary Order Paper was introduced during the session to consider and approve the appointments.
The development came days after Tinubu announced the appointment of Femi Gbajabiamila, the outgoing speaker of the House of Representatives, as his Chief of Staff; and George Akume, former Minister of Special Duties, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Efforts to get the names of the appointees proved abortive as sources within the parliament and Villa couldn’t provide details of the nominees. All rights reserved.
