Top artistes that are scheduled to perform at the event include Ahmed Ololade aka Asake; Adedamola Adefolahan aka Fireboy; Ikuforiji Abdulrahman aka Oxlade; John Udomboso, aka Young John; and John Ighodaro, professionally known as Johnny Drille.
A Nigerian actress and TV host, Osas Ighodaro; and an American actor and TV presenter, Terrence Jenkins, would be the hosts of the night. Expressing excitement at hosting the show, Ighodaro said, “I am here as an ambassador and lover of the Headies. Headies has really been at the forefront of celebrating who we are and pushing us forward, not only in Nigeria but on the world stage.”
