The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has faulted the House of Representatives order to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to stay any punitive
The organization argued that by such a directive by the green chamber seemed to be condoning indolence, indiscipline and examination malpractice.
The House of Representatives had urged JAMB) to suspend action on Ejikeme who was alleged to have falsified her JAMB score.According to MURIC, the motion is un-parliamentary, uncalled for and unacceptable to Nigerians of goodwill, adding that it was strange for the people’s representatives to encourage an action capable of destroying the future of the youth.
MURIC in a statement by its executive director, Professor Ishaq Akintola added that even stranger was the unholy motion to hold the hands of the JAMB registrar who had become known for altruistic and principled stand on many issues.
