The remains of a couple, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye, who were killed in a fire incident on New Year’s Day, have been buried.
The guests could not hold back their tears at the burial service and during interment, many rained curses on the suspected arsonists who carried out the crime.
The remains of the couple, put in two separate white coffins, were after the church service taken in a white hearse to a cemetery in the Lantoro area of Abeokuta, where they were committed to mother earth. The officiating minister, who called for justice, took his Bible reading from 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18.
