KualaLumpur Sebanyak 1,955 kotak rokok seludup pelbagai jenama dan 610 botol minuman keras tanpa lesen dirampas pada operasi bersepadu dijalankan Majlis Perbandaran Selayang bersama Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Gombak, kelmarin.

Ia membabitkan premis perniagaan di sekitar Gombak, Selayang, Rawang, Kundang dan Bandar Tasik Puteri.Pengarah Jabatan Korporat MPS Mohamad Zin Masoad berkata, pihaknya menyita 610 botol minuman keras tanpa lesen di tiga premis perniagaan di lokasi terbabit.

"Kami mengeluarkan 13 kompaun dengan tiga daripadanya mengikut Seksyen 3 Establisymen Makanan 2007 kepada pemilik premis yang tidak mempunyai lesen perniagaan. "Malah, pemeriksaan mendapati, premis terbabit tiada lesen eksais daripada Pejabat Tanah dan Daerah Gombak," katanya pada kenyataan hari ini. Beliau berkata, polis turut menyita 1,955 kotak rokok seludup pelbagai jenama dan menahan 23 warga asing yang tidak mempunyai permit kerja sah.
