In the off-season, Stamps president/GM John Hufnagel named Elliott as a player to watch this year, but a groin injury kept him out of the first couple months of the season.
“Me and Moxey played in Tampa together for a little bit,” Elliott explained. “His rookie year, we had some time in Tampa together, so we already had some form of similar communication.
