Monica Friday speaks on handling rejection

Speaking about the misconception people have about entertainers, she said, “The misconception people have about the entertainment industry is that there are no legit earnings. There are platforms paying people in dollars and not everyone will come out to say it. In Nigeria, most people don’t mention how they make money, or even teach people how they do it.”

Friday, who is known for her unwavering love for God, also shared how she integrates her love for God into her career. She said, “As an actress, I am able to balance my love for God and my career because it is first a lifestyle. So, I don’t look for how to balance it. Besides, I realised my calling early and I know it is God who propelled my career. However, this has caused so much undeniable separation. Sometimes I wake up to realise that some people have blocked me on Instagram.
