A former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu, has insisted that the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike and his group are behind the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to him, these are a group of people hoping that President Bola Tinubu withdraws from the 2027 presidential race so that they can use the PDP to run for presidency knowing they stand no chance in the All Progressives Congress. Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Momodu , a chieftain of the PDP, said people in APC know that Wike and his group are playing games.

reports that Wike has vowed to remain in the PDP despite working as a Minister in the APC administration led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu. ''Truth is constant, they have never hidden their mission in the ongoing struggle in the PDP. They have boasted that they have worked for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in 2023 and also said in advance that they'll work for him in 2027. 'And they'll remain in PDP and will not leave the party so that they'll continue to press it down. Everybody knows.
