Mohbad: Police Inaugurates Special Investigation Panel

A 13-man Special Investigation Panel has been inaugurated by the Lagos State Police Command to probe the sudden death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, disclosed this on Monday at a press briefing attended by the late Mohbad’s father and other family members.

“Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement,” CP Owohunwa stated. LEADERSHIP reports that 27-year-old Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records label, died last Tuesday and was buried the next day on Wednesday in Ikorodu area of the State.

His former record label boss and singer, Naira Marley, while mourning the death of Mohbad, described him as “more than an artiste or signee but brother and dear friend” to him.
