A suspected armed robber was on Monday set ablaze by an angry mob at Afiesere community in the Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the fleeing suspect, on realising that he had lost the game, quickly jumped off the motorcycle and ran inside the premises of Afiesere Secondary School where the unrelenting pursuers caught up with him while attempting to scale the fence of the school.The state acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
He said, “The owner of the snatched motorcycle has refused to show up at the police station to assist our men in their investigations.”
