Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge Messi, has confirmed that his son will join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) following his controversial exit from Barcelona.
Daily Trust had earlier reported that the Argentine playmaker has agreed a two-year deal with PSG with an option of extensionAddressing journalists at Barcelona’s El Prat airport on Tuesday before his flight to Paris, Jorge, who doubles as the footballer’s agent, said his son is set to join the French side.Messi, who spent 21 years at Barcelona, had earlier broken down in tears during an emotional press conference held on Sunday.
