Lionel Messi has arrived back in Barcelona and is expected to sign his new contract later this week.Messi, who remains a free agent after his previous deal expired on July 1, can be officially announced as a Barca player again before the weekend.

Messi, who earlier this month finally landed a major international trophy with Argentina when they beat rivals Brazil to win the Copa America, “will sign a five-season contract with a release clause of 600 million euros ,” according to Catalan sports daily L’Esportiu.
