MDAs have plotted 7.5% VAT evasion – FIRS boss
Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Mohammed Nami, yesterday alleged that some ministries, departments and agencies had devised means of evading the 7.5 percent Value Added Tax.Speaking at a meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on Finance, he said the MDAs awarded the contracts based on the old 5 percent VAT rate.
