The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to actualize the last wish of the late elder statesman, Mbazulike Amaechi by releasing

DAILY POST reports that the 93-year-old former aviation minister died on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Responding, Buhari had told his visitors that the request was a tough one, but owing to the age of Amaechi, the leader of the delegation, he would consider it. A statement he issued reads: “Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has declared that late Pa Mbazulike Amaechi’s last wish to see Nnamdi Kanu released from incarceration can be achieved now he’s dead, let the news of his demise touch the heart of the President to accord the wishes of the last Zikist and First Minister of Aviation to release Nnamdi Kanu from confinement.

Expressing shock over Mbazulike’s death, Ohanaeze recalled how the deceased protected the late South African President, Nelson Mandela in Anambra State.
