The Canadian Minister for Housing, Diversity and Inclusion, Hussein Ahmed, has arrived in Nigeria for the inauguration of Nigeria’s new president, Bola Tinubu, The PUNCH reports.
Also in a statement shared, the commission noted that the minister would meet with representatives of civil society and youths, adding that “Canada and Nigeria share strong bilateral ties, and Canada looks forward to continue collaborating with Nigeria on shared priorities, including trade opportunities and regional security, through the leadership of the new president.
“While in Nigeria, Minister Hussein will meet with representatives of civil society organisations, youth and international partners regarding Nigeria’s efforts in promoting inclusion and respect for diversity.”All rights reserved.
