Despite not having 5G access, Maxis is having a 5G device sale with smartphones offered for as low as RM0. The problem is, some of the devices don't even support 5G.

As usual, these devices are offered on contract and it is available on both Maxis and Hotlink postpaid.On the lower Maxis Postpaid 98 plan, subscribers can get the Honor X8 5G and the Vivo Y30 5Gon a 24-month normal device contract.
For the higher-tier models such as the Honor 70 5G, Oppo Reno 8 Z 5G and Vivo V25 5G, they are offered for as low as RM1 on a 24-month contract with the highest MaxisOne 188 postpaid plan.The 5G Device sale is also extended to customers onwhere you can get a device on contract when you sign up to their Hotlink 60 plan which offers unlimited calls and 40GB of high-speed data for RM60/month.
