Boy Spyce is back to open the year with a ear catching tune titled Folake.
Following the release of his self-titled EP at the time of his unveiling in April 2022 and his contribution to the Mavin All Star album Chapter X,
The fashion centric lad has left no room for doubt when it comes to his talent. He wields his vocals in a way that catches a listener’s attention, his storytelling and depth make his writing unique while his word play and honey laced melodies constantly leaves his listeners stunned. Produced by Sparqq, Folake tells the story of a young boy who is hopelessly in love with a girl who has her character being assassinated because she wouldn’t give other guys a chance. She is being said to be wayward but her love interest is unfazed, affirming that no matter what is being said about her, he loves and wants to be with her.
Showing growth from when he was unveiled, Folake is a great way for Boy Spyce to begin the year, as his abilities are put on display in the rhythmic number.
