Matthew Perry's stepfather Keith Morrison has spoken out after five people were charged in connection with the Friends star's death, saying the family are 'heartbroken'
Matthew Perry 's stepdad, Keith Morrison, has broken his silence following five people being charged in connection with the Friends icon's death. The Hollywood star, aged 54, was discovered dead in a hot tub at his plush California residence back in October 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner concluded the cause of death was due to the acute effects of ketamine.
The actor's personal aide along with two medical professionals and others who had ties to "the ketamine Queen" have been formally charged for their part in providing ketamine, reports the Mirror. Keith became a permanent fixture in Perry's life after marrying the actor's mother, Suzanne Perry, in 1981 and Matthew often spoke of him as the man who reunited his family. Matthew's father John Perry was married to Suzanne from 1968 until 1970.Government lawyers have alleged that Perry's assistant and a friend collaborated with two doctors and a drug dealer to procure thousands of pounds worth of ketamine for the star.
