Former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan opened a new chapter of his career Sunday with a painful reminder of his past.
He spent one season in Indianapolis following a 14-year career in Atlanta, which included a Super Bowl appearance at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
Ryan and the Falcons took a commanding 28-3 lead over Tom Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl LI before New England stormed back for a 34-28 overtime win in February 2017. Obviously, we would’ve loved for that game to have gone differently, there’s no doubt about it. But, it didn’t and there’s not s–t we can do about it now. And so if you don’t use that as a learning opportunity, as an opportunity to be better and to be better the next time you’re in it, then it’s wasted,” Ryan said,
