The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State has witnessed another defection of her state exco sequel to the resignation of the state chairman, Charles Ezekwem, a few months ago. DAILY POST reports that the State Publicity Secretary, Damian Opara as well as the Assistant Financial Secretary, M. I Okedu have tendered their resignation letters

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State has witnessed another defection of her state exco sequel to the resignation of the state chairman, Charles Ezekwem, a few months ago.

DAILY POST reports that the State Publicity Secretary, Damian Opara as well as the Assistant Financial Secretary, M. I Okedu have tendered their resignation letters and ready to join the ruling APC. The defectors, according to reports have accused the leadership of the party in the state of highhandedness, hence their decision to leave.

Information has it that they will officially join the ruling party on Thursday, 28 May, 2020 where the state chairman of the APC, Marcon Nlemigbo will welcome them alongside hundreds of PDP members.
