One Nation will make Aboriginal welfare applicants take a DNA test to prove their ancestry, claiming the current system is being 'rorted' by Aussies with 'blonde hair and blue eyes' falsely claiming they are indigenous.
NSW upper house candidate Mark Latham announced the policy on “ending indigenous identification rorts” Facebook today, saying the system was open to “widespread abuse”.
Indigenous-specific services or programs include providing assistance with grants, university courses, Centrelink, housing and employment. The spokesman for Mr Scullion told news.com.au: “This notion people are claiming to be Aboriginal is simply not the case.”When Mark Latham joined Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party in November, the one question on everyone’s lips wasFast-forward four months later and the unlikely pair are cracking jokes and sharing cringe-worthy praise for each other.
