March 9 elections: Nsukka Elders urge electorate to come out en masse to vote massively for Gov. Ugwuanyi

to come out en masse to their respective polling booths to vote massively for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , stressing that the governor has performed creditably and deserves a second term in office.

A statement issued after the Executive Committee meeting of NZSG chaired by Engr. Vita Abba had in attendance other notable personalities like Prof. Osita Ogbu, Gen.Godwin Ugwuoke , Arc. Chris Offor, Justice B.E. Agbata , Chief Mike Ejinima and the secretary, Dr Ogbonna Sam Onyeisi. The group reiterated its commitment to the success of Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration as well as the governor’s re-election bid “to complete the good work he has started in Enugu State”.

They expressed delight that Gov. Ugwuanyi has entrenched peace and good governance in the state, adding that the recent encomiums poured on the governor by revered leaders of the State “for uniting everybody” was an eloquent testimony to His Excellency’s administrative ingenuity and utmost commitment to the peace, unity and progress of Enugu State.

The group also pointed out that Governor Ugwuanyi has done well in infrastructural development in all the three senatorial districts of the state, noting that he has demonstrated the political will and leadership attributes of transparency, humility, integrity and vision. Nsukka Zonal Strategic Group, therefore, urged its members, their families and friends, and all other residents of the state to pray for the successful conduct of the elections as well as governor’s success at the polls on Saturday.
