Lebogang Manyama is making strides towards a long-awaited return to action at Cape Town City three months after his return to Cape Town following his Kaizer Chiefs departure. Read more ➡️

Manyama last played a competitive match in March while still in the books of Chiefs against Orlando Pirates then sat on the bench as an unused substitute in the next before disappearing as his injury concerns took their toll on him.Manyama's contract was then not renewed upon its expiry at the end of June and faced with recovering from injury at the time he then packed up and returned to City.

So, with that in mind, City have arranged to bring him back to the club while he undergoes his rehabilitation following knee surgery earlier in the year.
