The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that he is very sure that many Nigerians who have been extorted by men and officers of the police force are guilty of one crime or the other. Adejobi said that victims of police extortion and intimidations should be checked and questioned because many of them surely have “skeletons” in their cupboards, which is why they easily part away huge amounts of money with the police officers and keep quiet.
Many Victims Of Extortion Also Have Skeletons In Cupboard – Nigerian Police Tell Man Who Lost N750,000 To Bribe-Seeking OfficersAdejobi said that victims of police extortion and intimidations should be checked and questioned because many of them surely have “skeletons” in their cupboards, which is why they easily part away huge amounts of money with the police officers and keep quiet.
According to the Force spokesperson, many victims of police extortion are afraid of their deeds, hence, they only come on social media to talk about their encounter with the police without taking the matter up by reporting the officers to the police authorities. “You are afraid of your deeds, too. How would you just part away with a huge amount and keep quiet? Bros, let's be realistic. There is more to it. Tell us the truth, bikko.”
