Many feared killed in Adamawa communal conflict
A violent conflict between two tribes in Lafia, a commercial town in the Adamawa State border with Gombe, has caused the death of unspecified number of residents.
Sources said that by the time security operatives intervened to stop the violence, many had died while homes, domestic animals and other valuables were left in waste. Villages said to have been badly affected in the latest clash include Momsurmi, Boshikiri, Zakawon and Burti.
