United supporters had raved about the 18-year-old after his performance against Arsenal which saw Erik ten Hag's side win 2-0 with Mainoo playing a hand in the opener. Having shown glimpses of his potential last season, fans have been waiting patiently for news on his recovery.At the weekend, Mainoo was spotted in good spirits alongside Jadon Sancho as they watched the Under-18s beat Newcastle United at Carrington.
