According to DSP Ramhan Nansel, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, the tragic incident occurred at approximately 3 PM on Saturday. The suspect, Emmanuel Sani, is accused of fatally stabbing his estranged wife’s younger brother during a heated argument at the home of Sani’s father-in-law.
The victim was pronounced dead at the General Hospital in Nasarawa, where his body has been deposited for further investigation. The incident has sparked outrage in Mararaba Udege, with Irate youths, reportedly seeking justice, burned the suspect’s vehicle and destroyed property belonging to his family. Among the destroyed structures was the home of Sani’s grandfather, which was demolished and set ablaze.
