NSTcrime A 34-year-old man posing as a Bernama reporter who had earlier pleaded guilty to assault, changed his plea.

On Nov 12, Mohd Zarith Md Hanipah was charged with causing grievous hurt to Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute chief executive officer Melissa Ong.

However, when his case came up before Judge Mahyon Talib, he claimed trial to the charge which was allegedly committed at Sunway Putra Hotel, Jalan Putra, at about 12.15pm on Nov 8.
