The police in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria say their surveillance operatives arrested a lone gunman at a popular hotel (name withheld) in Awka, Anambra State capital. The spokesman for the state police command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement made available to SaharaRepoters on Sunday said that the surveillance operatives observed the man prowling around the hotel premises on Thursday and accosted him. He said they subsequently conducted a search on his person and found a gun with him.
