A 25-year-old man, Sulaiman Ibrahim, on Tuesday, appeared before the Osun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ile-Ife for allegedly stealing four cattle belonging to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Il
e-Ife.
The police prosecutor, Elijah Adesina, explained that the defendant committed the offences on May 30, 2020, at a commercial farm located on the OAU campus. The offences were said to contravene sections 383, 390 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun, 2002.His counsel, Omodogbe Babawale, urged the court to admit him to bail.
