Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West geopolitical zone, on Friday, met in Ibadan, Oyo State, to ensure the party in the area was built into a strong and united structure.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr Taiwo Adisa, the PDP South-West leaders met at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
The meeting, reportedly attended by Makinde and three former governors of the PDP, affirmed the resolve of party stakeholders to embrace the principles of equity and fairness in the distribution of positions due to the zone henceforth.It was also attended by a former military administrator of Ondo State and former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Olabode George, National Assembly members and other stakeholders.All rights reserved.
