Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the appointment of Col. Oladipo James Ajibola as the Director-General of Operation Burst.DAILY POST reports that Operation Burst is the joint security outfit created to attend to some critical security issues across the state.
The joint security outfit was established during the administration of the immediate past governor, late Abiola Ajimobi.The appointment of the Operation Burst DG was contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi. In the letter made available to DAILY POST on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the governor also approved the appointments of Bosede Sodiq as Senior Special Assistant , Kehinde Ogunsanya as Senior Special Assistant and Moshope Adebayo Akande as Senior Special Assistant .
Olanrewaju added that the governor has also approved the appointments of Albert Adebowale Ogunyemi , Otuowho Onoriode as Special Assistant , Oyebode Babatunde as Special Assistant and Adeyanju Akinloye as Special Assistant . Others are; Moses Alao as Special Assistant Print Media, Fisayo Daramola as Special Assistant Digital Media, Ogunbowale Olajuwon as Special Assistant Communication and Ademola Aderinto as Special Assistant Environment.He noted that the governor congratulated the new appointees.He spoke further by urging them to discharge their duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.
