PETALING JAYA: Commuters who used the LRT and MRT trains during the peak hours on Thursday (May 27) and Friday (May 28) morning were to told to get screened for Covid-19, after two individuals had come forward, saying that they have tested positive.

According to Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, two individuals - Claudia Nuriman and Nurul Aisyah - had tweeted about their positive Covid-19 results after boarding the LRT and MRT trains on May 27 and May 28 respectively.

"Her journey was between 7.30am to 8.30am on May 28," said Prasarana Malaysia Bhd in a statement on Saturday . On the other hand, Nurul Aisyah, in a tweet, revealed that she tested positive for Covid-19 and urged commuters who boarded the LRT train from Taman Melati to KLCC on May 27 to get tested.Meanwhile, Prasarana Malaysia Bhd said they welcome the honesty displayed by the two commuters, adding that Malaysians who used public transportation must always abide by SOPs to stem Covid-19.
