A company that produced log cabins is listed on the latest Revenue tax defaulters list as owing in excess of €1m to the tax collector.

Loghouse Living, which is now in liquidation, but was based at Office 4, 200 Greenogue Business Park in Rathcoole in Co Dublin, was found during an investigation to have under declared VAT.

In total it had failed to pay €390,429 and when this was combined with interest and penalties left the company facing a bill for €1,075,404.It is the highest settlement on the latest list of defaulters, which covers the third quarter of the year, from the start of July until the end of September.Seven cases were for amounts over €100,000 and two were above €500,000.Other individuals identified on the list include C.H.

His settlement follows a Revenue offshore assets investigation case and relates to an under-declaration of income tax.POS Fishing Limited, a marine fish supplier with an address at Rockvilla, Derrymihan West, Castletownbere in Co Cork was also named in relation to a settlement totalling €335,339 in tax, interest and penalties for under declaring corporation tax, PAYE/PRSI/USC and VAT arising from an audit.

That related to the underdeclaration of VAT that came to light during a Revenue audit case, and has been paid in full.He reached a settlement of €149,092 made up of tax, interest and penalties, following an audit that revealed non-declaration of capital gains tax and under-declaration of income tax and VAT.
