Lobi face crunch time against Sundowns vanguardngr.com vanguardnews
Lobi Stars face a daunting task today when they battle Mamelodi Sundowns in Match Day Five of the Caf Champions League group stage.
Th is is the second time these teams will be meeting and victory for the South Africans would mean that Lobi Stars are one leg out of the championship. Pitso Mosimane has discussed what the effect of a midweek loss has to their title challenge, although stating that they have a more important encounter today against Lobi.
“We still have eight games; we are there, no one is going to win eight games in a row. I think Cape Town City might win the league also, why not? They put themselves in the pool so I wish them all the luck to win the league,” Mosimane told the media. “No, they are experienced,” Mosimane said when asked about having to pick up his side’s confidence after a midweek defeat.
