According to Alvaro, Messi’s happiness is in Barcelona Football Club and the Argentina World Cup star could make a return to the Spanish La Liga giant this summer. Messi, 35, is yet to sign a new contract with PSG and the chances of him making a return to Barcelona are increasing by the day.Speaking on Messi’s situation at PSG, Alvaro told Sports Centre EPSN, “Messi is going to leave Paris. They never understood that they had the best.Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021 from Barca after the Catalan club failed to renew his contract due to La Liga regulations.
Barcelona hierarchy has since expressed their desire to bring Messi back to the club once his contract with PSG expires.
