Three-time Czech champions, Slovan Liberec, have confirmed on their website the completion of a permanent deal for Nigerian striker
His impressive performances during his loan spell was enough to convince the club to activate the option of signing him on a permanent deal.
“The wish of many fans is becoming a reality. Slovan exercised the option on Nigerian striker Victor Olatunji, who has been on loan under Ještěd from Larnaca in Cyprus since January,” read a part of the club statement. “The native of Sokoto, Nigeria, played for Slovak Inter Bratislava and Podbrezová in the past, he also played for Austrian SV Mattersburg and, in addition to Larnaca, he also wore the jersey of Cypriot Alki Oroklini.
“Now he is becoming a regular player for Slovan Liberec. And after exercising the option on Ľubomír Tupta, it is a further strengthening of our offensive for next season.”All rights reserved.
