A Lagos-based real estate firm, MDS Properties, has expressed optimism that the newly approved airport, which will be built along the Lekki-Epe axis, is set to expand commercial activities and boost the real estate market in the state.
According to a statement by the real estate firm, the project would stand as a foundation for growth and create platforms for businesses to thrive.
The statement also expressed optimism that the imminent surge of business activities in the axis would lead to 20-30 per cent increase in property prices, especially land, in 12 months. Also, the firm said the development would reduce the journey time and make commercial hubs in the Lekki axis more accessible.
The airport was also expected to stimulate tourism, which would in turn lead to more job opportunities, economic growth, and increased housing demand, the statement noted. All rights reserved.
