forty-seven governorship candidates in Imo State, yesterday disclosed their resolution to head to the tribunal to challenge the outcome of the just-concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
He said: “What is happening in Imo State is unacceptable and we have decided to address it once and for all. How can someone who did not meet the constitutional requirement of winning an election be declared winner of the election? “We don’t want this to become a precedence in Imo State. We are ready to go to the tribunal to tell the whole world that the election did not follow due process.”
