Leah Sharibu: We are not all sons of Abraham – Pastor Giwa dares Buhari
Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has told President Muhammadu Buhari to correct his assertion that ‘we are all sons of Abraham’.
However, Giwa specifically quoted Galatians 4:22 to support his argument, saying, “It will be totally wrong for anyone to think that we are all sons of Abraham. If all of us are children of Abraham, no one will be killing each other. Those who have faith are the real children of Abraham, according to Galathians 3:7.
“In Paul’s analogy, believers in Christ are like the child born of Sarah—free, the result of God’s promise. Those who try to earn their salvation by their own works are like the child born of Hagar, a slave, the result of human effort. “The angel of the Lord met Hagar in the wilderness, commanding her to return to Abraham and Sarah. The angel relayed a promise from God. The angel also predicted Ishmael’s name and character.
