Meanwhile, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has described the death of Egwu as a painful and a great loss.
Bello also described the late journalist as a man of truth and fairness who practised journalism with professional ethics. The governor prayed to Almighty God to grant the soul of Egwu eternal rest and members of his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Egwu, according to the commissioner, was a seasoned journalist whose immense contributions to the pen profession in Kogi State and beyond cannot be quantified.
