House of Representatives has called for urgent military intervention and rescue of missing farmers in Jere Mafa local government area of Borno State attacked
This was sequel to the adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by Hon Ahmed Satomi at plenary, yesterday.
He also expressed concern by the dynamic and strategy deployed by the terrorists who were on motorcycles, divided themselves into three groups and attacked not with guns but rather used cutlasses and knives to stab and butcher the victims. Adopting the motion, the House mandated the Nigerian Army to immediately mobilise troops to the affected areas to neutralise the terrorists and restore normalcy to the villages.
