Lassa fever death toll hits 70
Eight more people were confirmed to have died of Lassa fever this week in 19 states of the federation, according to the weekly epidemiological report of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.Among the 109 confirmed new cases were four health workers in Ondo, Delta and Katsina within the week.
