They want people who live or work up to eight minutes from their local fire station to apply
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has issued a community shout out to anyone interested in becoming an on-call firefighter.
And their work can range from fighting fires and other emergency calls to home fire safety visits, open days and carrying out work with their local communities. LFRS is recruiting people who live or work up to eight minutes from their local fire station.No qualifications are needed, however there are certain other criteria that must be met in order to be successful. Recruitment opens on Monday, June 17 and closes on Sunday, July 7, for training courses beginning in November 2024.
