LaLiga: What happened at Barcelona since we lost title to Real Madrid – Messi
saw their rivals confirmed as champions.Barca rounded up their domestic season with a 5-0 thrashing of Alaves on Sunday, with Messi scoring twice.
“We were self-critical and took a hard look at ourselves [after Osasuna], which is what we needed to do,” Messi told Movistar after the Alaves win.“We realised that we have not had a good season in terms of performances or results. I think today was a step forward in terms of attitude and commitment, which is what we must always have.
“We have to go out with the same desire as our opponent, or even more, and the performances will stem from that.”
