Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-OluThe Joint Security Task Force, Lagos Mainland Local Command, has appealed to the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for financial and moral support to keep its operations going.
The Chairman of the security outfit, Ishola Agbodemu, disclosed this in a letter addressed to the state governor, Chief of Staff to the state governor, Tayo Ayinde; the Oloto of Otto, Muhammad Basiru; the Executive Chairman, Lagos Mainland Local Government, Rasheedat Essien; and the Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Kayode Omiyale; on Sunday.
Agbodemu stated that there were suspicions of attacks from hoodlums in the area, adding that the financial aid would be an incentive to members of the security outfit. He said, “The Joint Security Task Force, Lagos Mainland Local Government Command is a coalition of community-based security organisations, set up with the purpose of protecting lives and property of residents of Lagos Mainland Local Government.
