The General Manager, Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, Mrs Lape Kilanko, on Tuesday announced the revised rates for vehicle number plates and drivers’ licences as approved by the Joint Tax Board in Lagos state.
Kilanko said the approval was conveyed in a letter issued by the JTB, dated July 30, 2021, and addressed to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. She said, “The letter implored all State Boards of Internal Revenue to ensure strict adherence to the approved rates for uniformity in the administration of road taxes in Nigeria.”
Kilanko stated that the revised rates for number plates and drivers licence had come into force since August 1, 2021.
