Lagos State has recorded 17 COVID-19 related deaths in two-days. The recent deaths had increased the infection mortality in the State to 67. The State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, who made the disclosure, also stated that the State has 4191 active COVID-19 cases, while 875 patients have been discharged. He, however, did not give additional information about the sex, age, nationality or medical conditions of the deceased.“8 additional #COVID19 related deaths were recorded. Total #COVID19 related deaths now stands at 67,” he revealed.
