Detectives from Bariga Police Station said they have arrested a man who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl after he had laced her food with Indian hemp that made the girl become unconscious.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Lagos State Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, on Sunday.“While she left to get him some drinks, he quickly poured some quantity of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp in her food.Elkana said that detectives from the Family Support Unit have arrested the suspect who had also confessed to the crime.“The suspect will be charged to court,” he said.
Elkana said that Olatunde, 31, of No. 27, Oremenunu Ibafo Street, Bariga, is “an ex-convict and a member of the Eiye Confraternity responsible for terrorising people of Bariga.” “He is responsible for the murder of one Ahmed Karowi, an Aiye Confraternity Kingpin on September 11, 2019.DOWNLOAD THE PUNCH NEWS APP NOW ON
